Safer Internet Week 2023 ‘Want to talk about it? Making space for conversations about life online.’ Safer Internet Day is celebrated globally in February each year and promotes the safe and positive use of digital technology for children and young people. It aims to inspire a national conversation about using technology responsibly, respectfully, critically, and creatively. This year’s theme is ‘Want to talk about it? Making space for conversations about life online.’ The aim of this theme is to help children talk about what they love and what they want to change about the online world. Using the internet safely and positively is a key message that we promote in school. Safer Internet Week is a great opportunity for us to re-emphasise the online safety messages we deliver throughout the year. We would be delighted if you could continue the conversation at home.
